We are seeking a professional with exceptional service and customer relation skills for the position of Accounting Clerk (Temporary). The Accounts Clerk (Temporary) will be responsible to handle month-end and project assignments. The role will ensure financial transactions are accurate in order to achieve the goals of the hotel and the division. The responsibilities include but limited to, processing, recording, and billing of debts owed to the hotel, monitoring group master accounts from check-in through checkout, ensuring correctness of billing, preparing and posting city ledger adjustments, mailing individual travel voucher accounts with proper documentation, researching and responding to credit card charge backs within time limits set by credit card companies and processing the necessary adjustments when required.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of two to four years of Accounting experience in a high-end environment and SAP, PeopleSoft experience is preferred. The candidate must have a high school degree or equivalent with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be computer savvy, must be organized and multilingual skills are preferred.
