Job Description

Answers and directs incoming calls from inside and outside the hotel. Takes Room Service orders. Identifies all guest needs, reservations, handles their requests. Dispatches Service Express delivery attendants and other hotel staff via two-way radio and telephone. Member of Emergency Response team. The Service Express® Agent is a back-of-the-house concierge.

Requirements

The Westin Los Angeles Airport is seeking Associates who are inspired to be their best, individuals who provide an experience for our guests and teammates that are personal, instinctive and renewing. Our ideal candidate is someone who is committed to providing experiences that are better, different and special. He or she must be computer literate, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to multitask and solve guest complaints. This position requires having general knowledge of the city, its attractions and extensive knowledge of the hotel, its services and facilities. Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 7 hours per day. Walking and standing are required the rest of the working day. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.
