The Steward is responsible for working with Food and Beverage departments to ensure all dishes, glasses, and serveware are clean and ready for use when needed. A Steward must take pride in attention to detail. The Stewards work in a very busy environment, particularly when there are large banquets, and the ideal candidate must be able to respond to directions quickly and professionally.
A San Diego County Food Handler's card is required, and the card must have at least 6 months of validity until the expiration date. Only SD County cards are accepted (state of California and online cards are not).
The Stewarding department works closely with all Food and Beverage departments to make sure each department is stocked with dishes, glassware, and display and serving items. The Stewarding team works with the Grant Grill, In Room Dining, and Banquets to ensure exceptional experiences are had by all global explorers.
