RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Revenue Management Processes a. Drive/Implement standard revenue management processes/best practices in regions hotels encompassing i. Effective Revenue Management Meetings ii. Standard and appropriate utilization of Starwood Tools iii. Appropriate tracking of all related initiatives b. TLPe : implement and support TLPe as and when required for the regions hotels 2. Pricing a. Implement standard pricing process as rolled out by the division/ensure adherence to pricing policies b. Educate/train/work with the regions hotels in understanding the key price transparency issues, factors that affect pricing and make the appropriate pricing decision especially by channel 3. Overall Revenue and Profit Focus a. Proactively help MRM’s at property level analyse additional sources of revenue besides rooms, e.g. F&B, banquet and its potential for the hotel b. Facilitate the development of a net profitability focus in evaluating business opportunities e.g. rooms with business meetings vs. business meetings c. Facilitate the impact on net profit and flow through of pricing and other decisions 4. Operational a. Ensure rate categories/rate codes/market segmentation follow Starwood standards in their respective systems (Starlink, Fidelio/Opera) b. Conduct training on the above 5. Human Resource/Training a. Identify high potential revenue management candidates b. Training of new revenue managers for the regions hotels
