Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Taking guest database, to greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant, seat them present menu and provide supervision/assistance with service of food and beverage, in a manner to promote a high level of guest satisfaction and thereafter to farewell each customer. SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS • Reservations confirmation • Follow up with the customers • Weekly SPG target • Dealing with waiters guest preferences • Achieving guest requests • Presents menu to guests explaining/selling daily specialties and seasonal food. • Ensures that menus/beverage lists are clean and in good order. • Assists as required with the actual service of food & beverage.

Requirements

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English and Spanish. (German will be a plus) • Must be able to use PC, Micros, SPG enrollment, Star Guest System QUALIFICATION STANDARDS Education Higher National Diploma or equivalent required. Experience 1-2 years of employment in a related position. Grooming All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per standards.
